“Beekeeping in the Time of Covid19” – Dr Marla Spivak

Join us on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, beginning at 7:30 pm for our Second Tuesday Beekeeping Webinar with Marla Spivak as she presents “Beekeeping in the Time of Covid 19.

Dr. Spivak is a MacArthur Fellow and McKnight Distinguished Professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Minnesota. Her research and extension efforts focus on breeding honey bees for their natural defenses against diseases and parasites, and on propagating floral-rich and pesticide-free landscapes to support the health and diversity of all bee pollinators.

The Nebraska Beekeepers Association holds monthly webinars for current NBA members on the second Tuesday of each month to help educate and connect current, new, and potential beekeepers. Webinars provide seasonal reminders and NBA updates beginning at 7:30 pm followed by special guest speakers. Webinars can be join (and watched) online or by phone.
