2018 Introductory Beekeeping – Part 2 (Field Day)

The 2018 Youth Scholarship recipients and 1 adult are paid for through the association.  This will be held at East Campus Apiary in Lincoln and will be a hands-on training experience for participants who attended the Mead workshop part 1. Snacks will be available, however, lunch will not be provided so please bring a lunch or plan accordingly. The Nebraska Beekeepers Association is a nonprofit organization that awards scholarships to youth beekeepers. We fundraise for the scholarships at the Nebraska State Fair each year, selling honey and beeswax products. Volunteer at the Nebraska State Fair Association booth. https://signup.com/go/mgNYLuT Volunteers help visitors choose from the wide variety of honey and beeswax products including honey ice cream.
