After attending the winter conference and Hearing Randy Oliver's discussion on planning your local areas blooms and his chart on planning your beekeeping year. I decided to give it a try and wanted to share what I have started and see what others have or there opinions.
I used a variety of different data source from the USDA to Wiki to try and find relevant information on bloom cycles and endings of local plants to the Central Nebraska Region the chart is not complete but I hope to fill in the missing or incorrect data throughout this next year to make it more accurate for future use This will be my second year beekeeping so last year I didn't pay much attention to what was blooming and was more focused what the bees where doing. As this year progresses I will try and update this with my own observations of plants in my area and My bee activity's
Please Let me know If there is already a better option out there that can be used or if you have something better please share i'm sure there may be others who could benefit from it.
